Sculptures by Calixte Dakpogan from the Metropolitan Museum’s excellent exhibition Reconfiguring an African Icon: Odes to the Mask by Modern and Contemporary Artists from Three Continents last year.
Finally made it to the Whitney Museum’s Yayoi Kusama retrospective (through September 30), and was especially taken with her early watercolor and gouache paintings, although these spotted balloons in the lobby are irresistible.

It’s going to be a while before I manage to write about the Guggenheim’s new Maurizio Cattelan quasi-retrospective All (through January 22), but in the meantime there are innumerable installation views worth posting, like this one.
And last but not least of the highlights from my visit to the IFPDA Print Fair (through November 6) at the Park Avenue Armory, a series of incredibly intricate cut-outs by Nicola Lopez for Tandem Press.
Another highlight of the IFPDA Print Fair was this huge Keith Haring piece at the Pace Prints booth.
