I just reviewed the latest production by the very good Off-Off Broadway company Ma-Yi Theater, Carla Ching’s The Sugar House at the Edge of the Wilderness, at the Connelly Theater (through December 4). I had mixed feelings, but some scenes are very strong and the show’s design is superb.
