Okay, one more (and maybe the last) image from the excellent Allison Schulnik exhibition Mound at Zieher Smith (through December 17), which I recently reviewed. This still life with flowers is titled “Oval Flowers” (2011).

After three previous posts I’ve finally written my review of Allison Schulnik’s terrific new exhibition, Mound (through December 17), at Zieher Smith, providing a perfect opportunity to post another image from that show. This piece is “Flower Mound” (2011).

I’m going to keep posting works from Allison Schulnik’s superb new exhibition, Mound (through December 17), at Zieher Smith until I finally write my review—which I definitely plan to do. This piece is “Blue Head” (2011).

This is really just an excuse to post another image of the new Allison Schulnik show at Zieher Smith, but I should mention that my Tumblr profile picture is one of her paintings. This feral-looking cat is titled “Rhys Johnson Koh” (2011).

Somebody recently asked me who my favorite artist is right now, and it only took me a few seconds to answer: Allison Schulnik. She has a new exhibition at Zieher Smith, Mound (through December 17), from which there will be many more pictures. For now, some nice sculptural details from the largest painting in the exhibition—100 inches by 148 inches!—”Flower Mound” (2011).
